Simply Sweet Omelet
2 or 3 eggs
1 teaspoonful of flour
½ a teacupful of milk
4 tablespoons (½ a stick or 2oz) of butter
A pinch of salt
Sugar
Jelly or jam (optional)
you will also need
A small fry pan
First mix together the flour and the milk to a thin cream like
consistency. Then In another bowl beat together the eggs and then
mix these with the flour and milk and add a pinch of salt.
Now melt the butter in a small fry pan and when the butter is very
hot, pour in the batter. Leave for a few minutes then sprinkle with
sugar.
When almost set carefully fold the omelet in two and then gently
shake the omelet onto a warm serving dish. Serve with jelly or jam
if liked.
